Depicting and conceptualising our LODEOut brand is the image of a Lodestone, which was the first naturally magnetised mineral extracted by our ancestors for industrial use. Combining the terminology of Lodestone with the transformative effect this load-bearing system has for tactical loadouts, the LODEOut brand was born….

How will the DoD’s amended prohibition of neodymium magnets affect Zulu Origins’ ability to remain Berry Compliant in the US?
On May 30, 2024, the Department of Defense (DoD) issued a final ruling within the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) [1] that further restricts the DoD from acquiring certain metals and magnets from “covered countries”, such as Iran, North Korea, Russia, and China. These extended restrictions come effective from January 1st 2027.

LODEOut is Zulu Origin’s magnet based attachment system and I got a chance to check it out in the Edgar Brothers stand during the recent DSEI in London.
Zulu Origin is itself an interesting story. Several Veterans of various British military units got together after some time in university and industry to start a company solving problems facing the individual Soldier. Those same solutions, like LODEOut, can be applied to a variety of applications.
